To my surprise as I browsed the Playstation Store for it’s normal Thursday update, there is add-on content for Tiger Woods 08! Two courses and an attribute add-on were available in the PSN Store this week. The “Maxed Player” add-on will max out your GameFace golfer to 110% instantly. This add-on is $2.49. In a very nice gesture from EA Sports, they have provided us with a FREE course.
Located on the Atlantic Coast of Scotland, the Turnberry Golf Resort is a beautiful course accented by the Turnberry Hotel and the famous Turnberry Lighthouse which was built on the ruins of the Turnberry Castle. In 2007, this course was named one of the “100 Best Courses Outside the United States” by Golf Digest. This course has hosted the Open Championship three times (1977, 1986, and 1994), and will be host to the 2009 Open.
In addition to the free add-on of Turnberry, EA Sports has offered an additional course for $4.99…the Blue Monster Course @ Doral. This course is located in Florida and is home to the World Golf Championships-CA for the past 45 years. The famous 18th hole at Doral was named one of the Top 100 Holes in the World by GOLF Magazine.
I will be polishing up my clubs and taking a walk through both of these great golf courses that EA Sports has offered to us and will be posting my thoughts on both here shortly.

I cant get the maxed out golfer add on to work. I downloaded it from psn and installed it but when i load my golfer in game he still has the same stats. Can anyone help please?

How can I download the Turnberry Course for Tiger Woods PGA tour as it is no longer avaliable to download in the playstation store?

In order to find the Turnberry add-on for Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08, go to the PSN Store, on the left side go to Add-ons, then go to Disc-Based Game Add-ons, arrow down to the 5th row, 2nd from the left and this is where the Tiger 08 add-ons are at. Hope that helps!
